The European Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers, cooperative company, AFVP, was founded in 1997 and is recognized by the European institution "Organization of European Producers", and this since 2005. The organization consists of conventional and biologics producers, spread all over Belgian territory.
Regarding the biologics, AFVP is controlled and certified by Certisys and / or Integra.
All members of AFVP are holding the EurepGap certificate, essential for the delivery of goods in supermarkets.
AFVP rents a warehouse with a refrigeration area of 800m ² in Sombreffe, located in buildings belonging to the company BioZone. These warehouses are used for the receipt, preparation and shipment of fruits and vegetables originating from biological farming.
The customers are mainly specialty stores and gardeners.
In the framework of the cooperative development it is our task to respond positively to requests that come from abroad regarding the export of our products.
